Since 2003 Stacey has taught yoga and practiced Thai Yoga Massage Therapy in various locations, including New Jersey, New York City, and London. After spending a year teaching, being a private raw food chef and traveling around Europe, she moved to DC in 2004 and taught yoga and practiced Thai Yoga Massage Therapy in the DC area while working as the Manager of Member Services for the National Recycling Coalition. In 2009 Stacey moved to Maryland and quickly saw the need for yoga and massage to fit active, busy lifestyles.
Stacey teaches various forms of yoga stemming from a Kripalu background and bringing that into a Vinyasa flow which uses the sun salutation throughout the routine and links breath to movement or by moving with intention. Stacey has studied Iyengar, Anusara, Ashtanga, Prana Flow and Baptiste yoga. She is a lover of Kundalini Yoga (Kriya Yoga), that uses Pranayama and Kriyas to detoxify the body and stimulate the mind. She uses a hands-on approach with her students and encourages them to listen to their bodies and their innerself. A firm believer that personal exploration and growth are essential to the heart of a yoga practice, she encourages her students to find the connection between yoga and their emotional well-being.
Stacey helps busy men and women to feel great physically and emotionally so that they can increase their quality of life without ever having to leave the comfort of their own home.
Stacey has had the pleasure of studying under, taking workshops or classes with Rashmi Sue Jenkins, Yoganand Michael Carroll, Yogi Vishvketu, Doug Swenson, Kathryn Budig, John Schumacher, Rusty Wells, Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rea, Vinnie Marino, Duncan Wong, Shannon Paige, Lorin Roche, Camille Maurine, Schuyler Grant, Maria Garre, Ashley Turner, Giselle Mari, Tanya Di Valentino, Tina James, Julia McCabe, Dave Farmer, Brian Kest and has been influenced by many, many more.

Kathy Page received her 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certification in 2010. Kathy attended hundreds of yoga classes, and several workshops and weekend retreats before deciding to pursue Yoga Teacher Training at Blue Heron Wellness in Silver Spring, MD. She uses an exploratory, enthusiastic approach to build strength, flexibility and balance in her hatha style classes. She believes yoga practice can transform the body, mind and spirit. Her intention is to empower her clients to improve their quality of life.
Edie Lazenby has been teaching yoga full time since 2005. Her first teacher
training whetted her appetite for more and she has not stopped taking training since then. In 2008 she graduated from teacher training program at Willow Street Yoga Center. Now an Anusara Inspired [TM] teacher, alignment informs all instruction as well as a desire to offer her students an experience that leaves them feeling that peace that comes from a fun and challenging practice. She loves putting poses together in meaningful flows and always teaches students how to engage the breath as they move or hold a pose. In 2010 she studied therapeutics with Jenny Otto in her Body Balance training and began teaching it right away. Her students come with MS, fibermyolgia, tender backs or rotator cuff injures and sensitive knees, among other common conditions, like sciatica, and Edie uses tennis balls and massage balls, blanket, blocks and straps and shows her students ways to move to ease out of discomfort that help the body to heal itself. She continues her studies in workshops at Willow Street and online and at home with books to offer what she can. “No Pain, No Pain,” she says. Pain is a great teacher and she believes it must addressed with empathy and sensitivity. She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level and a Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher. She is also the Program Coordinator for Clifton Enrichments, a mobile enrichment program for children. She teaches vinyasa, hatha, pre and post natal yoga, baby and me, therapeutics, gentle yoga and kids of all ages up to seniors.
Sarah Wimsatt has been a student of yoga since 2003. After becoming an active
participant in a 12-step recovery program, she realized how yoga could
truly help her make that transformation of mind, body, and spirit that
she so greatly needed. She had the opportunity to dive head first into a
200 hour Classical Yoga Teacher Training program at the urban ashram,
Kashi Atlanta. Under the direction of Swami Jaya Devi Bhagavati and
many wonderful teachers and mentors. She was taught how to live a yogic
life through bringing consciousness to the present moment. Kashi taught her how she can make new groves through making one conscious
choice at a time and through service to her community. She believes she is always a student first, and a teacher second. Yoga is a gift and a
discipline that has allowed her to feel a whole new freedom in her life,
She is forever grateful. Namaste.
